Within the RAF Air Cadets private funds (subscriptions from cadets) and donations, which include fundraising monies are controlled by civilians in the Civilian Welfare Committee (CWC). This is to make sure that funds are appropriately allocated and spent. It also provides an extra level of checks and balances on the squadron staff to ensure the future of the squadron.

 

The CWC also aid the squadron staff in using community contacts to aid the squadron with events and outreach.
